Therefore: -Since the contamination is operated through the pollen (containing the male gamete)
-Granted that in our case, the gene for the grain colour of the fruit presented a yellow dominant allele and the white recessive allele,
we tried to observe whether a field of yellow maize could contaminate another neighbouring field of white maize and if so, to what extent.
If the contamination occurs it will be directly visible (dominant allele) thanks to the formation of yellow fruits among white fruits.
